A private transport service has suspended operations in some areas due to threats and attacks

Jetty, the application of private public transport operating in Mexico City has decided to suspend its service on the Santa Fe links, due to constant attacks., and even death threats against their drivers, by concession carriers.

The brand has denounced in its social networks that since last March 11th, the operators of Route 5 (which goes from Tacubaya to Santa Fe) cstarted to prevent the pbadage of other means of public transport in the region with the argument of "they have the exclusivity to travel on this road"

In the afternoon of this Friday, March 22, the application, which runs at least 24 routes in this part of the city, showed photographs of a damaged unit and showed that one of his drivers had been attacked and that the carriers broke the glbad of one of their units, to which they added acts of violence for three consecutive days.

"We regret to inform you that after discussing with our drivers, we are obliged to suspend our bus services to Santa Fe indefinitely.. This afternoon several of them they received death threats, and we can not put them in danger, "said Jetty in a statement posted on Twitter, before announcing that he would also submit the corresponding criminal complaints.

"We had to make the painful decision to suspend some services, because we can not, in all conscience, risk our work team or subject our users to greater disadvantages.
