Apple News Plus (+): A service for reading newspapers and magazines from your mobile phone

Apple has launched Apple News Plus (+), a new subscription service that lets you read more than 300 magazines and newspapers on the iPhone and iPad. This tool will normally be available in the United States and Canada.

The platform includes access to The Wall Street Journal, The Times, National Geograhic, People, She and Vogue, among many other options.

The executive emphasized that the company is more interested in supporting quality content than in information that may simply be appealing, but not necessarily reliable.

The idea is that users can access a wide variety of content by paying a monthly fee. Apple, in turn, will pay the publishers based on their user participation.

The service costs $ 9.99 per month. The subscription is available in the United States and Canada (in the latter country, in addition to being available in English, it is in Spanish) and the first month is free. Then he will land in Australia and Europe, starting with the United Kingdom.
