He also added: The House of Mara is also the home of the family. In the delicate situation of today's world, the family based on the marriage between a man and a woman is of vital importance and mission. It is necessary to rediscover God's plan for the family, to reaffirm its greatness and irreplaceable character in the service of life and society.

"In the house of Nazareth, Mara has experienced the multiplicity of family relationships as a girl, girlfriend, wife and mother, so that each family, in its various components, finds here a welcome and inspiration to live its identity. Our Lady indicates that the family and the youth can not be two parallel sectors of the pastoral care of our communities, but they must walk together.

Finally, the pontiff recalled that the house of Mara is also the home of the sick and said: The house and the family are the first way to cure the patient to love, support, encourage and treatment. That is why the shrine of the Holy House is the symbol of every welcoming home and sanctuary of the sick.
