The member countries of the European Union (EU) reaffirmed that they did not recognize Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights.arguing that the North American policy change in this sense is not in line with international law.

"The position of the European Union on the status of the Golan Heights has not changed", said the High Representative for EU foreign policy, Federica Mogherini, in a statement.
