The complaint was brought to court after filing an injunction of the Public Defender. In their arguments, they affirmed that the detention of a period of torture and badbadinations by the State "constituted a risk of new democratic breaks". "The right to memory and truth is required not to commit new violations of the integrity of humanity and to preserve the current generation of new states of exception", badured Silva da Luz.
The president gave his agreement to carry out the acts and, from that moment, some districts of San Pablo and Brasilia began the celebrations between thursday and friday. With the court ruling, the Sunday commemorations were suspended.
Bolsonaro, a 64-year-old former army captain, denies that the uprising that toppled President João Goulart and who ruled the country until 1985 was a coup d'etat. For the far right, it was more of a movement "civilians and military" this allowed to defeat the guerrilla left and to prevent the installation of a communist regime in this country.
