"I have never seen such a case in more than 30 years of career in medicine, "said Dilip Roy, Jessore's Medical Services Manager, and criticized the doctors at the Khulna Medical College Hospital for failing to detect the second pregnancy.

In some women, fusion does not occur and the separation wall does not dissolve, "said Dr. SN Basu, chief of obstetrics and gynecology department at Max Healthcare Hospital in New Delhi .
Poddar was able to perform a Caesarean section quickly to give birth to twins: a boy and a girl. "The three children are safe and healthy," Poddar said. "The mother is doing so well."
The uterus of Didelphus is a rare conbad anomaly. gestation of twins has a general incidence rate of 1 in a million, according to the National Institutes of Health.
And that this condition is not discovered before birth is even less common.
"In rural areas, people do not know what's wrong with them. They do not know how many children are pregnant and sometimes they do not even know they're pregnant, "said Basu.
