Government to make new proposal to indigenous peoples to resume dialogue Tuesday

Interior Minister Nancy Patricia Gutiérrez badured that the national government will resume dialogue with indigenous communities in the department of Cauca.

"The government has a concrete proposal on the demands that it has received, within which we can follow up, that everything is in line with the multi-year investment plan," the minister said.

Gutiérrez pointed out that the director of the National Planning Department, Gloria Alonso, would accept a proposal for productive projects, with an amount of feasible land and problems related to education and health.

Faced with the possibility of a country-building workshop in this department, the official said the government had already considered the feasibility, but warned that to achieve them, you must have defined the investments feasible.
