Before the pressure of opposition, the Maduro regime released the two deputies who had stopped during the crackdown in Maracaibo.

Two opposition soldiers were arrested Saturday by soldiers in the Venezuelan city of Maracaibo, during a protest convened by the head of parliament Juan Guaidó, denounced legislator Adriana Pichardo.

Pichardo pointed out that violated parliamentary immunity"of the two leaders.

A few minutes later, Juan Guaidó announced in his speech before a crowd in Caracas that they had already been released. "They have just released the deputies arrested, Nora Bracho and Renzo Prieto," he said.

The retentions took place in the midst of protests against mbadive blackouts and severe water shortages in the Zulia tanker on the border with Colombia.
