Kyle Froelich was 12 years old when he was diagnosed with a disease. which caused the accumulation of antibodies in the kidneys. Once inflamed, the organs could not fulfill their filtering function.

the 19 years old, the young man was on the waiting list for a transplant. His family and friends were not compatible with him. For a friend in common, Chelsea Claire decided to give him one of her kidneys.

Claire's father had died in 2006, while waiting for a bone marrow donor. The young woman told the magazine The health: "When I discovered their situation, it was like ours and I felt like I could help."

Claire and Froelich met in 2010. They were together during the medical process, then they started dating and fell in love. Three years after the transplant, they got married. But the kidney that she gave him started to fail.

The couple explained that if they could not get another organ over the next 12 months, this 28-year-old should start dialysis. Although pneumonia has complicated the picture, do not lose hope.
