The FR national deputy spoke about the closing of the sub-slogan registration period, which is Monday, and will see the officialization of about 293 people representing the provincial government in the 76 municipalities. Garupá has 15 candidates for the post of mayor who presents the renovation, while there are nine in Posadas. For Welbach, "the Misiones electorate continues to believe in the current provincial government because it gives citizens reliability and proximity."
In the June 2 elections, the Renovador Front will have about 293 slogans. On average, there are between four and five per locality, although in some cases there is only one, the current mayor. Citing examples to Radio Libertad, the legislator stated that there would be two apostles, nine in Posadas and eight in Iguazú. But there are places where expectations are greater, like Garupá, where there would be fifteen sub-themes or San Vicente with almost ten.
He mentioned the case of Pozo Azul, where the mayor is elected for the first time. "There is a lot of country climate, there are six sub-slogans and it will be a very difficult campaign, an interesting scenario to watch, because among their objectives, they want to at least develop themselves as, for example, Andresito or San Vicente, which are the municipalities that were eventually created in Misiones ".
For Welbach, the strength of the RF does not lie in the number of sub-themes, "but in the strong provincial proposal, which is currently strengthened, solving the problems of the missionaries".
He compared this year's elections with those of 2015 and said it was a very different scenario, even different from that of 2017. "In 2015, the Renovation reached the four seats of national deputies at stake. Two years later, with the legislative changes, we were better positioned, because the economy was better, but it is not the current situation, it is very serious, it is a another scenario. "
The MP said the provincial government has offered many alternatives to the missionary people, mainly to solve the economic problems. He mentioned the programs for SMEs and the consumer sectors, which allowed the economy to remain active, unlike the national government which applied policies of economic disengagement.
Regarding missionary concerns, Welbach said the priority today is to make ends meet and keep or find work. In addition, there is a lot of uncertainty in the production sector, mainly in SMEs.
And with regard to national election options, he badured that the Renovation would continue to support the governance, consensus building and agreement aspects. "Over the past three years, Misiones has done well, because at the time of the vote, we negotiated good agreements for the missions, not for the leaders, but for reasons related to the good of the missionaries, such as the posts. budget and work that has a continuity of the nation here. "
He also said that in the coming years, no matter who is elected to the presidency, he should be guided by the need to agree on all the provinces, because today the country is very fragmented and each province tries to survive alone.
Finally, he stressed that the governor of Misiones was involved in the alternative armed Federal Alternative, with a clear slogan: "We want a consensus, we do not want an alternative to four or five alternatives. It is very difficult to to move to a fragmented stage then to elections.Because before PASO, it is demonstrated that we are not able to lay down personal attitudes, for the sake of all.If I go to Paso, this is a good idea. is because I have differences with you, so how are we going to sit down and work together later? "
