A collector has already returned two helmets of Malvinas veterans

Buenos Aires. Matías Picchio, a 42-year-old collector from Britain, managed to contribute to the story of two Malvinan fighters by making the helmets they used on the islands. Three years ago, Picchio, who lives in Cambridge, bought at an auction the protection of veteran José Muñoz and returned it as part of an emotional recognition. Now, he has returned to the country to deliver the one belonging to the fallen soldier, Rafael Barrios.

"He had a rare case, which was not typical of Argentinean Malvinas helmets," he said, while acknowledging: "They have a very special smell." When he saw Barrios' name inside the object, he began to investigate his story and found his brother, Felix. "I called him to tell him that I wanted to send him away," he said.
