After two years of uterine transplantation to which this woman submitted, this is again a new thanks to her little son born a few days ago. The baby became the first to be born after this surgery carried out completely by a robot.

The woman, whose identity has been kept secret, gave birth to a child weighing nearly three kilos and born after a scheduled cesarean. In 2017, she had undergone a uterine transplant which, for the first time, was performed by a robot. This procedure involves surgically removing a woman's uterus and implanting it in another woman who can not have a baby naturally.

They started an investigation because of the medical procedure they performed on a baby

The woman received the uterus of a transplant donor in her body in the University Hospital Sahlgrenska, Sweden, in October 2017. Ten months later, she underwent fertility treatment with a pre-transplant embryo that changed her life.

Professor Mats Brännström, responsible for the procedure, said: "This is an extremely important step in the development of surgery related to uterine transplantation and its safety", and added: "For the first time, we demonstrate that badisted surgical technique by the least invasive robot is practicable. "

Unusual: two identical twins are forced to keep a baby because of the impossibility of knowing who is the father

A few days ago, a video of the Boston Dynamic robot was broadcast. This one was presented in March 2017 but now works in a warehouse of a company responsible for stacking boxes. This reinvented version of Handle presents it in the form of a modern and evolved robot.
