Jesus, who has decided not to reveal his real name, has lost four teeth, has no color and seems dead after five years of crystal and methamphetamine use.

"He scolded me, he told me that I had to leave him, that he had destroyed my life and my family"he confessed to the BBC World.

He began to take drugs out of curiosity, but soon became addicted.

At the age of 28, drugs became commonplace in Michoacán. I wanted to know what it looked like. It was very pleasant to smoke, "he recalls.

In contrast to his previous life with drugs, the man stated that he had never had euphoria, nor saw life very clearly, as when he had tried mentafetamines. "I felt capable of doing a lot of things, because of the sensations I felt on me."

"I have agreed to sell drugs to maintain my vice"

When fun became addictive, nothing, not even his family, counted for Jesus. He stopped working as a taxi driver.

Although at first he was able to pay for his drugs, his money was quickly exhausted. He therefore agreed to sell mentafetamine.

"At that time, the most powerful cartel in the area was La Familia Michoacana, and the man who sold it to me was working for them."he said.

Among his memoirs, Jesus stated that in the beginning, La Familia had helped people, had given them money and had "protected" them from other criminal groups. "They just helped by bading"he said.

"These narcotics have destroyed young people with drugs, not only by consuming them, but also with violence. In the end, everything is dead"he said.
