With human blood, they painted a mural in the municipality of Roldanillo, Valle

The beheading of a young man from La Unión commune and the violent deaths recorded in the northern Cauca Valley prompted a Roldanillo artist to paint a mural with human blood.

It's Julian Castillo, famous for being part of the Guinness Record as the creator of the world's largest wall painting painted in graphite.

The new work, represented by a three meter by three falcon on one of the outer walls of the school Belisario Peña Piñeiro de Roldanillo, is composed of three liters of human blood.

"It's a way of protesting in a certain way because in our country and all over the world, all conflicts want to solve them with bloodshed," said Julian, a 25-year-old tattoo artist who wants to return to the book records. Guinness

For the artist Roldanillien, it is a social experiment, because he wants to attract the attention of the community, so that it reflects in that "the problems are not solved with blood ".

For the elaboration of the mural, Julián Castillo procured the raw material of twelve friends who voluntarily donated the three liters of blood needed during the two months that lasted the manufacturing process of the wall.

To ensure the durability of the painting, the artist from Valle del Cauca added a pigment to the blood used to tattoo the human body and a protector for acrylic paint, guaranteeing a shelf life of about ten years to the air free.
