Complaint about a transgender immigrant illegal detention with the ICE: the asylum was granted to him six months ago

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) on Thursday called for his release. Nicole García Aguilar, nail transgender immigrant who has been in the custody of the Office of Police and Immigration (ICE) in New Mexico for six months, although a judge has granted him political aylum.

Through a statement, ACLU and the National Center for Immigrant Justice (NIJC for the acronym) have referred to the legal remedy they have brought against the alleged "illegal" detention of the migrant, who fled his country of origin because of the violence that he experienced because of his badual condition
