Indonesia withdraws warning of possible tsunami after 6.8 earthquake

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), a 6.7 km and 17.5 km deep earthquake affected the Gulf of Tolo, off the central coast of Sulawesi Island. after which the Indonesian authorities issued the warning.

The earthquake, which occurred several months after the devastating 28 September earthquake north of the island of Sulawesi, gave no information about the victims. More than 4,000 people died.
