Macri suspended his tour in Europe "to be in the country at that time"

decided to suspend the tour planned for next week in Europe. The President took action today, at about sixteen. "Think you must be in the country at that time," official spokesmen said, citing critical economic indicators that the government will try to mitigate with a package tomorrow.

The president had planned to leave Thursday 25 for Belgium for a state visit during which he would meet Prime Minister Charles Michel and King Felipe. He also went to the headquarters of the European Union in Brussels.

From there, on the 29th, he went to Paris to meet President Emmanuel Macron, who had invited him to the G-20, held in Buenos Aires in November. Meetings were also planned to negotiate Argentina's entry into the Organization for Cooperation and Development (OECD), one of the objectives set out in Cambiemos' management of international affairs. Macri would end his tour in Zurich, Switzerland, at a meeting at FIFA headquarters.

According to official sources, it is possible that the state visit to Brussels will be postponed to a later date in the year, while its pbadage in Paris would be ineffective.
