Regarded as the richest person in Denmark, 46-year-old Anders Holch Povlsen inherited the fashion group Bestseller, founded in 1975 by his parents, Merete and Troels Holch Povlsen.

The group, which has 3,000 points of sale in 70 countries, owns brands such as Vero Moda, Only and Jack & Jones.

Holch Povlsen is also the majority shareholder of the British online fashion brand ASOS and is part of the capital of Zalando, a German internet sales specialist.

Among the victims are also the famous chef Shantha Mayadunne and her daughter. The woman and her family were having breakfast in a restaurant at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo on Sunday morning when the bombs exploded.

Shortly before the explosions, Mayadunne's daughter, Nisanga, had posted a picture of the table that she shared with her family. Shantha Mayadunne was the first woman to present a cooking show on television in Sri Lanka.
