Mariano Borinsky, the judge who chairs the Commission for the Reform of the Penal Code, presented to the International Forum against Corruption in Beijing the new text sent by the executive power to the Congress and which will probably be the subject of a debate next year.

The members of the Commission are judges and prosecutors of the judiciary of the nation and the provinces, prosecutors, national ministries of justice and human rights, security and social development, university professors and lawyers.

The resulting project proposes to add 15 new titles to the second book of the Penal Code, from title XIV – included – mentioned terrorism and the financing of terrorism, drug and narcotics trafficking, taxes, customs, trade, military crimes, trafficking offenses and illegal residence of migrants, crimes against the freedom and dignity of work, crimes of blood trafficking, organs and genetic crimes, crimes against the environment, against archaeological and paleontological heritage, crimes against sport, computer crimes and against intellectual property.

In addition, it is proposed to add a third book containing crimes against humanity and the international community.
