After 14 years, they appointed a new mediator for children and adolescents

The child advocate post had been vacant since its inception 14 years ago. This Thursday the lawyer was appointed Marisa Graham, specialized in family law. The advocate will become a key figure in the protection of children's rights.

Created in 2005 from Act on the Comprehensive Protection of the Rights of Children and Adolescents, the Ombudsman is the one who must control public policies on children and ensure the respect of the rights that the state must guarantee.
