A model dies on the catwalk during the fashion week in Brazil

A model died in the middle of the catwalk on the last day of the fashion show of the 47th São Paulo Fashion Week, which was held Saturday in the Brazilian city, reports Folha de S. Paulo.

Thales Soares, 26, better known as "Tales Cotta", has collapsed by modeling the Ocksa brand collection. At first, participants thought that the incident was part of the presentation. However, a few minutes later, the young man began to shake and foam in his mouth. Soares was rescued by firefighters on the podium and was transferred urgently, apparently alive, to a hospital.

One hour after the incident, the company organizing the event announced the death of the model, due to a "terrible blow" that "did not resist".

The causes of Soares' death have not yet been elucidated, but he is suspected of being a victim of epileptic seizure.
