A model died on the podium on the last day of the 47th fashion show São Paulo Fashion Week, celebrated this Saturday in the Brazilian city.

Thales Soares, of 26 years, better known as Cotta Tales, collapsed as the Ocksa brand collection went by. At first, participants thought that the incident was part of the presentation. However, a few minutes later, the young man began to shake and foam in his mouth.

Soares was rescued by firefighters on the podium and transported urgently, apparently alive, in a hospital.

Although the organization of the event raises doubts, the program finally continued normally and the planned parades of the brands Ponto Firme and Cavalera took place.

The organization of the São Paulo Fashion Week He said in a statement that the youth "had" suffered a sudden death "and that" although he was promptly treated by the rescuers and taken to the hospital, he unfortunately did not resisted ".

"We regret this fatality and offer our sincere condolences to the family of Tales, as well as the agency Base MGT," added the organizers.

According to careful information, the death occurred precisely in the last day this year of Sao Paulo Fashion Week, in which Cotta had already parade Friday for the brand Ratier.
