Julian Assange was sentenced to 50 weeks in prison in the United Kingdom for violating his probation

A London court sentenced Julian Assange to nearly a year in prison for violating his bail in 2012, when the founder of WikiLeaks fled to the Ecuadorian embbady in the capital of the United Kingdom.

The 47-year-old Australian, appeared in Southwark court to hear the opinion, after another British court found him guilty of this position on April 11, after being arrested at the Embbady of the country of South America, where he lived a refugee for nearly seven years.

This judicial process is parallel to another request for delivery of the journalist to the United States.
