The parade of Plauen, a city of 66,000 inhabitants, was organized by the group "Der Dritte Weg" – "The Third Way" -, a group founded in 2013 in Bavaria and now established in Saxony.
Some three hundred supporters of the organization joined the march, all dressed in a brown t-shirt and a chest-style military inscription.
The march was led by several members playing drums and framed by individuals carrying the flags identifying the group and the torches.
In the images broadcast today by social networks, slogans such as "foreign aliens" and other xenophobic cries are heard.
Plauen It is one of the neo-Nazi strongholds of Saxony, a "Land" where the September regional elections will take place, in which a strong impetus is expected for the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD ).

In the last general election, in September 2017, the AfD was the most voted force in this "Land", with 27%, nearly 15 points above the national average obtained by this party.
