MOSCOW.- Yesterday the pictures of
a plane caught fire and dozens of desperate pbadengers shocked the
world: the ship with 78 people on board caught fire during an emergency landing at Sheremetyevo airport in
Russia
and caused the death of 41 people.
The Sujoi SSJ100, operated by the national airline Aeroflot, also had five crew members on board when it landed and moved along the burning runway. The videos that became viral on the networks showed people jumping from the plane on an inflatable slide and then running on the track.
