Pope Francis denounced Tuesday that "we are used to eating hard bread of misinformation and we are done prisoners of discredit", at the Mbad celebrated today in Skopje, where he arrived today from Bulgaria after a two-day visit.

"We got used to eating the hard bread of misinformation and we ended up being discredited, labeled and disqualified," the pope said in a stern homily.

And he continued, "We thought that conformism it would quench our thirst, and we ended up drinking indifference and insensitivity; we were fed dreams of splendor and greatness, and we finished eat distraction, confinement and loneliness"

"We have absorbed relationships and we have lost the taste for fraternity," added the pontiff, who also denounced the search for quick results, impatience and anxiety.

He also criticized the fact that "the prisoners of the virtuality have lost the taste and the taste of the reality".

Francisco then prayed that "indifference, disrepute, disqualification do not fill our tables and do not take first place in our home".

The pope will spend about 10 hours in Skopje to celebrate a meeting with young people from different religions in the country, mainly Orthodox Christians (65%) and Sunni Muslims (30%).

The visit will end with a meeting with the men and women religious of the country, of Latin and Eastern rite, in the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Skopje.
