US Vice President Mike Pence to propose news on Tuesday Venezuelan army encouraged to turn its back on President Nicolás MaduroIn response to an uprising that failed last week, a senior government official told Reuters.

Pence will offer new "incentives" to the Venezuelan army, said the official to Reuters, who declined to provide details on the proposals before the speech. "It will show where are the opportunities if people do the right thing in the future," he said.
Pence will also give guidance on new aid for Venezuelans who have fled the oil country, which has been affected by the shortage of food, water, electricity and medicines, as well as an economic badistance plan to from the "first day" after the departure of Maduro, added the manager.
The Vice President will also give a warning to the judges of the Supreme Court of Justice of Venezuela. The Treasury Department sanctioned in 2017 the president of the court, Maikel Moreno, and the seven main members of his constitutional chamber, and is now preparing sanctions against the remaining 25 members, said the official.
