Terrifying data on ocean pollution that worries the world

A group of Chinese researchers studied small animals inhabiting the deepest point of the ocean and confirmed an intimidating fact about the growth of water pollution.

The man caused great damage in terms of pollution of the planet but, although he became more aware in recent years, a study provided accurate information on the presence of radiocarbon in the depths of the ocean.

A team of Chinese researchers has discovered that animal species inhabiting the Marianas Trench, the deepest place in the ocean, have accumulated carbon 14, a byproduct of atomic bomb explosions.

The information was confirmed in a statement of American Geophysical Union according to the study published in the trade journal Geophysical Research Letters.

They discover a threat to humanity at the bottom of the ocean, which will be irreversible when it begins.

Carbon 14 is also called radiocarbon and occurs as a result of the interaction of spatial radiation with atmospheric nitrogen. The atomic tests carried out in the twentieth century doubled their concentration in the air.

However, scholars have claimed that it took several centuries to reach the bottom of the sea, but this study broke with this stigma. Chinese scientists found that the level of radiocarbon in muscle tissue of small crustaceans was much higher than expected. These antipodes were collected two years ago at nearly 11,000 meters altitude.

They found a strange creature in an ocean trench in Indonesia.

"Although ocean circulation takes hundreds of years to transport pump-contaminated water to the deepest well, the food chain does so much faster.", says the statement from the American Geophysical Union citing the author of this study, Ning Wang, of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
