Guaidó thanked Macri for his support for the restoration of democracy in Venezuela

Through a video made public through the social networks of the Argentine president, Guaidó thanked Macri for "the support provided" to Venezuelans "to restore democracy" in this Caribbean country.

"In Argentina, many Venezuelan IDPs have received products of the wrong populism model that they have tried to sow in the region," said the self-proclaimed Venezuelan president.

In a message recorded by the Argentine Embbady in Caracas, Guaidó said that "we can go forward" while sending a "force" to the Venezuelan exiles of our country and to "all Argentines who help us recover democracy."

It should be remembered that the Argentine government was one of the first to recognize the Guaidó as the highest authority in Venezuela, ignoring the power of Nicolás Maduro at the helm of the Caribbean country.

Last January, a few days after the outbreak of the institutional crisis, the Argentinian President received at Casa Rosada the ambbadador to Argentina, appointed by Guaidó himself. Elisa Trotta Gamus returned to Macri a few hours after her appointment by the "self-proclaimed president" to appear before the Argentine authorities.
