Pope Francis addressed an anti-crack message to a group of bishops of the Episcopal Conference of the Buenos Aires region, to whom he asked them to "continue to work for a culture of encounter in our country" .

At this level, Bishop Gabriel Barba, Bishop of Gregorio de Laferrere, said that the pope had told them that in Argentina "we are all responsible and we must work for a truly federal country from the culture of encounter ".

"Francisco told us that in the history of Argentina, a lot of work had been done to build a federal country but we are still far from a true federal country," said Bishop Barba. The prelate of Buenos Aires added that "elections, we spoke of zero".

Barba said that, as was the case last week during the meeting of the pontiff with the first group of bishops who visited him, Francisco said that this year has "the full agenda" for a possible trip to Argentina. "But the theme of the trip is open," he said.
