Hundreds of faithful participated in the traditional procession at the Shrine of the Virgin of Fatima

As every year, this morning, hundreds of pilgrims left Posadas cathedral to visit the spirituality center of Fatima to celebrate a new anniversary of the first apparition of the Virgin. At 9 o'clock in the morning, the procession reached its destination and the Provincial Superior of the Congregation of the Divine Word, Fernando Reis, celebrated Mbad on the spot.

The faithful began to meet in Plaza 9 de Julio, in front of the cathedral, from 5 am. An hour later, when the sun had not yet appeared and the temperature was around 16 ° C, they began the procession in the image of the Virgin before The road pbaded by the street Felix de Azara, the 39 Rademacher Avenue and Route 12, and hundreds of neighbors were added to the pbadage of the group of worshipers in their neighborhood.

At around 9 am and according to schedule, the procession arrived at its destination, the spirituality center Fatima where the Mbad was celebrated. In the homily, the father called for solidarity and the union of the brothers: "As a people, we walk without joy for the moment, but Mary tells her servants to do what they want. he tells them to do. The devotion to the Virgin of Fatima originated in the testimonies of three pastors who witnessed several Marian apparitions at the Cova da Iria, Fatima, Portugal, between May 13 and October 13, 1917. Every year we celebrate the anniversary of his appearance. It was decided this year to move forward one day to the celebration so that the inhabitants of Posadas can participate in the celebrations of the Sunday.
