Sources confirmed that at least two suspects had been arrested, while Miami authorities were investigating what had happened.
On Sunday, Miami police evacuated the Trump Tower Resort, located on Collins Avenue at 6:01 pm, in Sunny Isles Beach, after a shooting in the vicinity of the residential complex.
Nearby, minutes later, another shooting took place west of the William Lehman Causeway. Miami-Dade police and Sunny Isles Beach police reported at least one death and one casualty.
Initial reports indicate that the event would have occurred in the valet parking area. After what happened, two suspects were captured, these sources added.
The police entered the beach and Collins Avenue, while they were evacuating people to the beach.
"No one can go out or enter the station, there are more and more police," said a guest. "The police inform us that the shooters could be near the complex," he added.
For this reason, the neighborhood of the residential complex has been cleaned by the authorities.
