Exceptional presence of Argentine companies in the largest agricultural show of South Africa

With an exceptional presence of Argentine agricultural companies, the 53rd edition of Nampo Harverst Day, the largest agricultural exhibition in this country, began in Bothaville, South Africa.

The exhibition, visited last year by some 83,000 people, has 775 exhibitors and an international presence, notably in the United States, England, Brazil, Canada, Italy and Argentina.

Argentina has companies such as Ombú, Metalfor, Ipesa, Rizobacter, Indecar, Richiger, Mainero, Yomel, Tecnosem, Apache and Peon. In addition, there is the ICBC Bank, the Argentine Chamber of Agricultural Machinery Builders (Cafma), INTA, the Argentine Investment Agency, Pro Cordoba, Santa Fe Global and Expoagro, which hosts each year the booth of Argentina. . There are authorities, the technical team and the commercial Exponenciar, organizer of Expoagro.

The exhibition has for motto "Nampo, a platform for your agricultural future" and constitutes an opportunity for Argentine companies that use the technology of direct seeding, spraying, bagging. grains and inoculants, among other products.

South Africa has an area of ​​122 million hectares, of which 17 million are cultivable. The main limitation is the lack of water: precipitation is less than 600 mm per year. In cattle, he has a rodeo of 10.8 million heads.
