He won a million dollars in the lottery, but his story has not ended well.

Karlee Harbst, a 26-year-old American, bought a scratch card at the Gold Rush Doubler lottery in 2018. She was pregnant and missed a few days for Mother's Day. He thought maybe he was going to have a stroke of luck. And so it was: he won a million dollars. But a year after becoming the owner of a fortune, his life gave a spectacular 180 degree turn.

According to local media, women was arrested during a raid against drug traffickers in Florida, which was distributing heroin, fentanyl and cocaine on the streets of Volusia County.

However, this is not the first time Karlee faces justice. His criminal record includes other arrests for drug possession, theft, contempt of court and driving warnings with a suspended license.

When they told her that she had won the grand prize, the young woman did not come back. Excited, she told the lottery officials that she had bought this scratch because she was wearing number 24, her favorite.

A little more than a year later, she became one of 20 people arrested as a result of a secret police investigation. From their environment, they lamented that I would not have taken advantage of the opportunity to invest money and therefore start from scratch.
