China has announced the establishment of a "list of unreliable entities", which "seriously undermines the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises", in what is interpreted as a new chapter. of the trade war with the United States.

The Ministry of Commerce today announced the creation of this list, which will include companies, organizations and foreigners.

The establishment of this blacklist comes just two weeks after Washington included the Huawei technology company, which it accuses of constituting a danger to national security, on a list of companies and people prohibited from access. to American technology.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce has not specified what would happen to the companies on this list, although it has announced that "specific measures will be announced in the near future", reported EFE press agency.

The spokesman of the institution, Gao Feng, explained that entities or people who "do not comply with the rules of the market, out of the spirit of contracts or blockade or confiscate Chinese companies for non-commercial purposes "will be included in the list. which seriously undermines their rights and legitimate interests ".

Beijing believes that with this measure, it "safeguards international economic and trade rules and the multilateral trading system" and "opposes unilateralism and trade protectionism".
