Trump suspends tariffs on Mexico after entering into an agreement on immigration

The American president, Donald Trump, announced this Friday that the United States has reached a trade agreement with Mexico and clarified that the five per cent tariffs that were to come into effect on Monday were canceled.

"I am pleased to announce that the United States has an agreement with Mexico. tariffs expected to be applied Monday by the United States against Mexico are suspended indefinitely"said the US president via his account on the social network Twitter.

Trump pointed out that the Mexican government has agreed to take further steps to reduce migration. He also added that the details of the agreement would be published by the state department.
