Terrible accident with a collective in Brazil: 10 dead and 51 wounded

At least 10 people died and 51 were injured in a bus crash that occurred Sunday night in a city in the state of San Pablo, local authorities confirmed.

The vehicle overturned around 9:30 pm local time, on the route Floriano Rodrigues Pinheiro, at the peak of Campos de Jordao, tourist town located in the interior of San Land. Pablo.

Authorities still investigate the causes of the accident, but some witnesses told the news portal G1 the vehicle had lost control and appeared to be without brakes.

According to local media, among the 10 victims (eight adults and two children), there would be a man and his son who were driving inside one of the three vehicles hit by the collective.

At least 26 of the 51 wounded were transferred to different hospitals in the area, as San Pablo firefighters explained via Twitter.
