Coal tycoon and billionaire Chris Cline and his daughter die after the fall of a helicopter

Seven people, including coal magnate and American billionaire Chris Cline, died Thursday in a helicopter crash in the Bahamas, The Register-Herald newspaper reported, citing US authorities.

According to the report, the helicopter landed in the Atlantic Ocean near the northernmost island of the Bahamas, Cayo Grande shortly after takeoff.

The cause of the accident is still unknown.

The bodies of the seven occupants of the helicopter, described as four women and three men, were found at the scene of the accident.

Friends identified one of the victims as being Chris Cline, while the newspaper reported that one of the tycoon 's daughters was also on board the plane and had also died.

Five other victims of the accident were identified as US citizens. The helicopter flew between Fort Lauderdale, Florida (USA) because of the risk of illness of a person on board, according to The Register-Herald.
