Trump confirms the start of massive raids against immigrants – Telam

US President Donald Trump confirmed Sunday that a national operation against people living illegally in the country would begin next Sunday.

The raids, which began this week on Sunday in the US press, have raised fears of defenders of immigrants' rights.

The operation should target people who have not complied with final deportation orders, including entire families.

Trump told the White House press that agents of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service would focus on immigrants wanted by criminals, according to CNN.
