The first man on the moon (First man, 2018)

Journey to the moon (The trip to the moon, 1902)

It could be considered one of the first adaptations of cinema, since it is based on two novels: From the Earth to the moonof Jules Verne and The first men of Lunaby H. G. Wells.

Journey to the moon (Destination Moon, 1950)

Produced by George Pal (that of La Máquina del Tiempo, a clbadic Super Action Saturday, do you remember?) Iron Sky (2012)

Although it is not one of the most famous films on this list, the premise is very interesting: before their final defeat, the Nazis managed to send a ship to the moon, held by men and women. Aryan women who establish a colony there. they work to return to the planet to finally conquer it. Comes an American astronaut who is immediately captured by locals to discover, to the horror of his ideology, that he is an African-American.

Produced by New Holland Pictures, Iron Sky was also financed by crowdfunfing, via the WreckaMovie site. Despite his funny idea and his good special effects, he was not very well received by critics.

Goodbye dear Luna (2005)

This is a science fiction filmed in 2003 (although it was released in 2005) by Fernando Spiner with a screenplay by Sergio Bizzio, Valentín Javier Diment, Alejandra Flechner and Alejandro Urdapilleta.

The title refers to a project that humanity has successfully completed in 2068, which consists of destroying the satellite because of the gravity exerted on the planet and causing typhoons, tidal waves, droughts and floods.

However, the international politics burst and the ship in which the protagonists travel is blocked in space and in the hands of an extraterrestrial who swarm there.

Space Odyssey 2001 (2001 An Odyssey of Space, 1968)

A year before the completion of the Apollo XI voyage, Stanley Kubrick was encouraged to reproduce the effects of gravity, and even filmed scenes on a lunar surface not yet reached. Years later, and with innocence destroyed by conspiracy theories, the Kubrick-inspired realism in the film is one of the origins of the theory that the United States never reaches it. the moon and that everything is treated to a (very good) staging to win the space race to the Soviets, who had already reached the infinite and beyond with Yuri Gagarin.
