International artists who participated in the marches that forced the resignation of the governor of Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rosselló, they celebrated this Thursday in the streets of San Juan the resignation that they forced "in peace, like Gandhi", as a summary Ricky Martin

"Puerto Rico did it, and we did it peacefully, without arms, like Gandhi, we demand respect and they listened to us." Respect for Puerto Rican girls, Puerto Rican women, respect for the LGBT community , respect for our deceased, is still happening ", says pop singer Ricky Martín, whose photo at the head of the event went around the world.

Puerto Rico we did it. And we did it in peace. Without weapons, like Gandhi. We asked for respect and we were heard. Respect for our children, respect for our women, respect for the LGBT community, respect for our dead. It will never happen again. We will not let anyone walk on us anymore. We will be attentive, vigilant. There is so much to do now. It is now that we must work more than ever. We succeeded today because we were united. For many decades, Puerto Rico was divided. No more. I hope our new generation will make things happen instinctively. And now we turn the page. I see a very bright future. I feel very calm now as I celebrate. It has been a roller coaster of emotions. From anger to joy (I cried like crazy). It was a birth. We can now achieve everything we want. We are an example. More corruption, more trash. We saved our island. And now, go out on the street. GO AND CELEBRATE but please, do not drop the ball. EYES OPEN FROM NOW. I want to thank the members of the press for keeping us informed. Thank you. Because of your exceptional work, the whole world listened. I'm sure some "world leaders" will not be able to sleep tonight. I'm sure some are nervous. We wrote a powerful page in the story tonight. PUERTO RICO, WE ARE OK. I like you.
