Cordoba would have a new cabotage line

The American airline American Jet announced Wednesday the incorporation of two Embraer 145 aircraft with a capacity of 50 seats, with which it will start operating regular cabotage flights, before the end of the year , to destinations not covered by another airline. .

In this perspective, the commercial director of the Sabrina Roszuk company has planned that the first operations will take place between Buenos Aires and points of the interior of the country and indicated that one of the first routes to badyze will connect Córdoba, Rosario, Buenos Aires, Neuquén and Comodoro Rivadavia.

The board explained that the company had "more than 35 years of business in Argentina, still offering non-scheduled flights to companies related to extractive industries and energy." Now, the integration of two ERJ 145 will expand the pbadenger service operations. "

"This is due – he explained – because we have an unused capacity of planes and personnel and because we have noted the concern of many pbadengers from destinations that are not covered by from other airlines, or because there is no infrastructure for major air operations bearing, or because they are not profitable for these aircraft ", at- he explains.

Meanwhile, Roszuk planned to add two more aircraft to his fleet next year and hoped to build a model hangar at the Neuquén airport to create a hub there, stating that they had their own runway service at Aeroparque. , as in the province of Patagonia.

American Jet was one of the companies that appeared at the first public hearing to obtain routes, held late 2016, at the request of it. 13 routes were then awarded to Neuquén.

Of these, seven are international in Bolivia, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay, and an Argentine destination for which an agreement with the United Kingdom is needed: the Falkland Islands.
