Interpol arrested "Matungo", the main trafficker in the conspiracy of Argentine traffickers and Brazilian drug groups

Interpol has arrested two men in Paraguay accused of being the link between a megabyte of Argentine smugglers and Brazilian criminal groups that maintain bloody drug control struggles in the region, such as the First Capital Command (PCC) and Vermelho Command. One of them is Eduardo Ramírez Cantero, known as "Matungo", is a formidable arms dealer in the neighboring country.

The procedure was carried out in 2016 by the National Anti-Drug Secretariat of Paraguay, which determined that the entry of arms was becoming clandestine for the black market.

The organization of smugglers broke down in June was devoted to the sale of arms, through a triangulation between the United States, Europe, Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil. The gendarmerie seized 1,235 weapons, 808 bombs and 200,000 ammunition, 740 655 pesos, 136 533 dollars, 43 780 euros and 16 vehicles during raids carried out in the city of Buenos Aires, the conurbano, Bahía Blanca, Santiago del Estero, Córdoba, Rosario and general Roca.

Ocampo appears to be linked to drug trafficking and also has a history of trafficking in weapons. Record 104 migratory movements from Argentina to Germany, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile and Brazil.

The cause is not yet closed. The two people captured on Paraguayan soil allegedly used companies as a screen to enter illegal shipments.
