The situation was recorded by prison officers in a video, which was then leaked by the Secretariat to the Prison Service (Seap) of Rio de Janeiro.

Baixinho's daughter, Ana Gabriele Leandro da Silva, 19 years old, She was arrested and accused of having facilitated the escape. which provides for a sentence of six months to two years in prison. According to the investigation, to get into the costumes, the young woman had the complicity of a woman who, because of her pregnancy, was dispensed with x-ray.

In 2013, Baixinho and 30 other prisoners fled to one of the prisons of the same complex, via the sewer system, and were arrested a month later.
