As a result, he stated that he could not refer to "additional facts", "there is an investigation and must therefore "respect the reservation".

In the accident, NCOs Jesús Mosquera and Sebastián Gamboa Ricaurte died. They had participated in an air show as part of the traditional silleteros parade held annually at the Medellín Flower Fair.

In this regard, the senior official explained that the rope to which they were subjected by harnesses is composed of 95% nylon and 5% cotton. As detailed, the rope is "strong enough" because it is made for a maximum strength of 10,000 pounds, about 4,500 pounds.

According to the authorities, it has the capacity to carry up to ten soldiers with all his equipment, whereas this Sunday there were only two soldiers with the flag.

General Rueda explained that until now they do not have a history of accidents in these procedures, they also use in military operations for the transfer of the military.
