Lavagna accepted Lacunza's appeal and said his economic teams are available

The presidential candidate by federal consensus, Roberto Lavagna, today accepted the call of the new finance minister, Hernán Lacunza, and via his Twitter account, said his "technicians are available to bring in opinions and proposals for the stabilization objective. "

After taking the lead of the Treasury after the resignation of Nicolás Dujovne, Lacunza launched this morning an appeal to the economic referents of the main political spaces to "preserve the stability" of the country.

"The president (Mauricio Macri) has asked us to convene the economic referents of all the spaces that have clashed in order to agree on basic conditions to preserve stability," Lacunza said at a press conference.

A few hours later, Lavagna wrote a tweet in which he declared: "In keeping with our vocation of dialogue and consensus, the Federal Consensus has accepted the invitation of the Minister of Finance and Energy".

"Therefore, our technicians are available to provide advice and proposals for stabilization purpose," said Lavagna, who suspended his presidential campaign last Thursday on the economic crisis in the country.
