"Upskirting": he recorded the private parts of more than 550 women underneath the dresses and stopped him

National police officers arrested a 53-year-old man of Colombian nationality in Madrid, accused of recording the private parts of more than 500 women with a hidden camera and then publishing them in badgraphic pages.

The arrest, according to the Police Directorate General, is "one of the greatest predators of privacy" and used a backpack with a mobile phone to record women under their skirts and dresses in the subway, suburb by following them in stores or supermarkets, publishing 283 videos on portals that total "millions of viralisations".

Police have identified 555 victims, some of them minors, of this practice called "under the skirt"(Unauthorized videos below the skirts) .The people arrested, according to police sources, had no criminal record and are accused of crimes against the privacy of persons, abuse and prostitution minors.

The alleged perpetrator acted "compulsively" every day and recorded every woman he could. He was arrested in Fraganti while he was capturing images of a woman under her dress in the Madrid subway.

In the registration of their home, the agents intervened many graphic documents, which were still not badyzed and studied by specialized agents in order to specify the "real field" of the investigation.

The investigation began when agents located a dedicated web portal for publishing badually explicit and badgraphic videos with more than 20 million followers.

Police investigators found that a profile of this page published a multitude of videos recorded in Madrid, in which we could see intimate areas of the body of hundreds of women.

Specifically, there were recordings made, possibly, with a hidden camera and without the consent or consent of the women who were there, what is called "under the skirt".

Investigators found that, on occasion, in addition to recording images of the entire body and private parts such as the bad and / or underwear, they had also collected the victims' faces , with the damage that entailed.

According to the badysis of the profile studied, the agents determined that the first video of this type had been published in July 2018, but it is not known whether he had already exercised the same activity elsewhere or used a another web page with badgraphic content.

They also found that the detainee "repeated and perfected" this procedure without interruption since he had created the profile until his arrest. Currently, the above-mentioned profile had 3,519 subscribers, 84,594 visits and a total of 1,367,999 views of its publications.

Once the facts were verified and after an exhaustive badysis of each of the publications, specialized agents confirmed that the total number of videos uploaded by the alleged perpetrator on the website, via the profile studied, was determined. There are 555 victims, all women, registered in different environments, such as the metro, the Cercanías train or the supermarkets in Madrid.

During the course of the investigation, the officers concluded that the detainee generally captured his victims in high traffic areas such as the suburbs; then he followed them into the street, even entering with them in supermarkets or shops to get better shots of their intimate areas, which he recorded "very closely".

After several steps, the researchers identified an individual as being the alleged perpetrator of the events described, in the case of a 53-year-old Colombian.

Stopped at Fraganti

Once identified, the agents managed to locate him in the Madrid Metro and stopped him at fraganti while registering a woman under his dress.

At that time, he was wearing a black backpack and, in one of the pockets, a mobile phone placed at a strategic location, the recording device activated to obtain illegal images.

After registering his home, the police intervened on three hard disks and a laptop containing "dozens of gigabytes" of videos recorded for hundreds of victims.

Officers managed to identify 29 women registered in just five days, some of them minors. The detainee was brought to trial and ordered to enter pre-trial detention.
