Argentina has put about 200 brigades and its teams at the disposal of Brazil to fight fires in the Amazon region, following a telephone contact between President Mauricio Macri and the head of the country. State, Jair Bolsonaro, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He also stated that Brazil's requests for badistance "are coordinated jointly by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and SINAGIR".
