Live: Lacunza announces new economic measures

Finance Minister Hernán Lacunza gives a press conference during which he is expected to announce economic measures to calm the markets, after another day in which the dollar and country risk have increased.

At the previous meeting, Mr. Lacunza, accompanied by part of his team and the President of the Central Bank, Guido Sandleris, met with IMF credit envoys, Alejandro Werner, Roberto Cardarelli and Trevor Alleyne. The meeting took place at the ministerial seat.

The IMF should also issue a statement on the country after the conference.
