The presidential candidate of the Frente de Todos (FdT), Alberto Fernández, went to Spain to give courses to the Camilo José Cela University, activity he had engaged before his candidacy.
He will be in Europe for a week and will give a course as part of a seminar on public management and image consulting organized by the Madrid-based university.
Taking advantage of his stay and the projection that allowed him to win the victory of more than sixteen points over President Mauricio Macri during the primaries, he will meet the leaders of Spain and the euro zone. The agenda includes a possible meeting with the Spanish President, Pedro Sánchez, and with the former president, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, also of the PSOE. He will meet with Josep Borrell, where he will be the High Representative, in charge of the common foreign policy and security of the European Union. He will then travel to Portugal, where he will meet Prime Minister Antonio Costa in Lisbon. The return trip will take place on September 8 to start the presidential campaign.
